Fees
Fire Alarm and Automatic Fire Sprinkler systems permit fees are based upon the total square footage of the project. Fees are calculated as follows:
- 0-100,000 square feet
- 0.02 per square foot of building area (minimum of $60)
- 100,001 - 300,000
- $2,000 for first 100,000 square feet
- Plus 0.017 for each additional square foot or fraction thereof
- 300,001 +
- $5,400 for first 300,000 square feet
- Plus 0.01 for each additional square foot or fraction thereof

Permits are requested for all regulated work. Failure to obtain a permit will result in fines - double the permit fees in addition to the original permit fee.
