More ways to help our shelter animals
- Volunteer: Volunteers age 18 and older can assist at Allen Animal Shelter by walking dogs, playing with animals and helping with other tasks as needed. Volunteers must pass a background check and attend a 2-hour training. Allen Animal Services is not accepting new youth volunteers at this time.
- Foster: We're looking for foster families! Fosters must pass a background check, attend an orientation and complete training with a coordinator.
- Donation Items: We appreciate donations of food, cleaning supplies, pet supplies and toys. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter by appointment.
